To keep up with the times, IKEA plans to release a new & sustainable “inflation-proof” collection, made from 100% recycled materials & discarded furniture.
Zero-Waste Buy Back Initiative
IKEA invites customers to bring in used, unloved or outworn pieces to any participating store in exchange for credit toward future purchases. Donated pieces go towards the continued production of the Inflation-Proof collection.

All Blown Up
On socials, IKEA launches a filter to inflate everyday objects.
And to promote the collection in a massive way, IKEA places Inflation-Proof pieces of extreme proportion all over New York City.
Inflation Station
To celebrate the opening of its newest SoHo store location, IKEA will install a limited ‘soft goods’ market featuring everyday items made exclusively from the collection’s signature yellow material.
